The Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 Active Directory® Certificate Services Management Pack for Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 provides a predefined set of processing rules and guidance designed specifically for monitoring the performance and availability of the Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) role services, including the Certification Authority, Online Responder, and Network Device Enrollment services.

What's New

The Active Directory Certificate Services Management Pack provides the following improvements and additions:

  • Event rules that generate the appropriate level of alert for each event (error or warning) that is critical to AD CS availability
  • Performance (measuring and threshold) rules to generate performance charts and necessary alerts when counters reach critical levels
  • Knowledge and resolution guidance specific to each event and performance rule
  • Optional monitoring of informational and success events by enabling rules in the Optional Certificate Services Monitoring Rules folder
