Downloading Management Pack Files

Download the Network Load Balancing Management Pack and related files from the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 Catalog (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=108937). The Network Load Balancing Management Pack package contains the following files:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Network Load Balancing Management Pack.akm
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Network Load Balancing Management Pack Guide.doc
  • MOM 2005 Supplemental End User License Agreement

The Network Load Balancing Management Pack provides the fundamental functionality necessary for monitoring NLB. However, complete monitoring of NLB can be achieved only when you monitor the technologies on which NLB is load balancing. Therefore, we highly recommend that you deploy the management packs for the workloads being load balanced, in addition to the following management pack:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Operating System (available in Spring 2008)
