Downloading Management Pack Files

Download the Active Directory Rights Management Services Management Pack and related files from the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 Catalog (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=108937). The Active Directory Rights Management Services Management Pack package contains the following files:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Rights Management Services Management Pack.akm
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Rights Management Services Management Pack Guide.doc
  • MOM 2005 Supplemental End User License Agreement

The Active Directory Rights Management Services Management Pack provides the fundamental functionality necessary for monitoring AD RMS. However, complete monitoring of AD RMS can be achieved only when you monitor the technologies on which AD RMS depends. Therefore, we highly recommend that you deploy the following management packs with the Active Directory Rights Management Services Management Pack:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Operating System (available in Spring 2008)
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Internet Information Services
  • Microsoft SQL Server
