Scheduling malware scanning

The Microsoft Forefront Protection 2010 for SharePoint (FPSP) scheduled scan is used to scan files that already reside on your SharePoint server. The scheduled scan also enables you to scan sites that are not covered by the realtime scan.

Note:
Realtime scanning must be enabled in order for the scheduled scan to run.
