Repair the Fax service

Repairing the Fax service does not change any fax documents that you already saved. However, it resets the Fax service configuration to its default state. You need to reconfigure the Fax service after the repair.

Note

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To repair the Fax service

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console in Advanced Mode.

To open the console in Advanced Mode, click Start, click All Programs, click Windows Small Business Server, and then click Windows SBS Console (Advanced Mode).

  1. In the User Account Control dialog, click Continue.

  2. Click the Network tab, and then click Devices.

  3. Click Repair the Fax service.
