Install CDI Provisioning Components for Inbound Automatic Synchronization

In this section, you will use the Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) Deployment Tool to install and initialize the Customer Directory Integration (CDI) provisioning components, which consist of the Managed CDI Namespace and Hosted CDI Namespace.

Procedure DCDIA.24: To install and initialize CDI provisioning components

  1. Log on to MPS01 as a member of the Domain Administrators group.
  2. Start the MPS Deployment Tool.
  3. In the Requirements Status pane, right-click Initialize Customer Directory Integration, and then select Execute -> Initialize Customer Directory Integration.
  4. On the MPS Deployment Tool interface, click the Start Deployment button.
  5. Close the MPS Deployment Tool when the deployment is complete.
