Install the Hosting Solutions Reports

In this topic you install the Hosting Solutions reports. These are reports that are specific to Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration version 4.0 and will show you the utilization of the hosted applications in your deployment.

Install the Hosting Solutions Report Files

Run the hostingreport2005.msi on MOMSQL01 to install the report files.

Procedure DWR.17: To install the Hosting Solutions Report files

  1. On MOMSQL01, on the solution installation media, navigate to the Monitoring and Reporting folder, and then double-click Hostingreport2005.msi.
  2. At the Setup Wizard Welcome page, click Next.
  3. Accept the default installation folder, and then click Next.
  4. At the Confirm Installation page, click Next.
  5. When installation completes, click Close.

Deploy the Hosting Solutions Reports

Make the Hosting Solutions Reports available in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services by running DeployReport.exe.

Procedure DWR.18: To deploy the Hosting Solutions Reports

  1. On MOMSQL01, open a command prompt and change directory to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Hosting\Reporting\Hosted Reports 2005.
  2. At the command prompt, enter DeployReport.exe to run the executable.
  3. You will see a message that Deploying reports has started and then a message that Deploying reports has completed.
  4. Open a browser to https://momsql01/reports and verify that you see a folder called Hosting Solutions Reports.
