Using "Backup Now"

The Backup Now feature enables you to manually run a server backup that uses your current backup settings. You can choose to run Backup Now as a step at the end of the Configure Server Backup Wizard. Additionally, you can start a backup at an unscheduled time by using the Backup Now task in the Windows SBS Console.

Note

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To backup up your server manually

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Backup and Server Storage.

  3. In the SERVER Tasks pane, click Backup now.
