View or change POP3 Connector properties

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To view or change POP3 Connector properties

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Network.

  3. Click the Connectivity tab.

    The list view displays information about your network connections.

  4. In the list view, click POP3 Connector.

  5. In the Tasks pane, click View POP3 Connector properties. The Windows SBS POP3 Connector Properties page appears.

  6. To view a list of POP3 e-mail accounts that connect to user mailboxes on your server, click the Accounts tab. On the Accounts tab, you can perform the following actions:

    • To map a new POP3 account to a mailbox on your server, click Add.

    • To change an existing POP3 account connection, select an account in the list, and then click Edit.

    • To delete an existing POP3 account connection, select an account in the list, and then click Remove.

  7. To view the schedule when your server will download POP3 e-mail messages from your Internet Service Provider (ISP), click the Scheduling tab. On the Scheduling tab, you can perform the following actions:

    • Specify how often your server retrieves POP3 e-mail messages from your ISP.

    • Choose to retrieve POP3 e-mail messages now.

  8. When you are finished viewing or making changes to the POP3 Connector properties, click OK to close the Windows SBS POP3 Connector properties page. Any changes that you made will save automatically.
