Edit user role properties

Note

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To edit user role properties

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click the Users and Groups tab, and then click User Roles.

  3. In the list of user role names, click the user role you want to edit, and then, in User Role Tasks, click Edit user role properties.

  4. On the <User Role> Properties page, do any of the following:

    • On the General tab, change the description.

    • On the Remote Access tab, change access to Remote Web Workplace, and allow access to the virtual private network (VPN).

    • On the E-Mail tab, change the mailbox quotas and the maximum mailbox size.

    • On the Folders tab, manage shared folders and folder redirection.

    • On the Groups tab, change group memberships.

    • On the Web Sites tab, change the access to Remote Web Workplace, the internal Web site, or Outlook Web Access.
