Create a new network report

Note

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To create a new network report

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Reports.

  3. In the tasks pane, click Add a new report. The New Report Properties page appears.

  4. On the General tab, do the following:

    • Type a unique name for the new report.

    • Type a short description that explains the purpose of the report.

  5. On the Content tab, do the following:

    • Select the check box for each type of information that you want to include in the network report.

    • Clear the check box for any item that you do not want to include in the report.

  6. On the E-mail Options tab, do the following:

    • To e-mail the report to specified recipients, select E-mail this report at its scheduled time.

    • To send a copy of the network report to a network user account, select the check box for each designated recipient.

    • To send a copy of the network report to an external e-mail address, in the Other e-mail addresses text box, type the full e-mail address of the recipient. Use a semicolon to separate multiple e-mail addresses.

Note

It is not necessary to specify e-mail recipients unless you selected the E-mail this report at its scheduled time option.

  1. On the Schedule tab, use the drop-down lists to specify a daily or weekly schedule to run the network report.

  2. Click OK.
