E-mail network reports to people outside the network

Applies To: Windows SBS 2008

You can send an e-mail message with network reports to people outside of your Windows SBS 2008 network. For example, you might have an IT consultant who manages your network issues from outside of your network and needs to monitor your reports. Or you might want to view a report without logging on to the server.

To send an e-mail message with network reports to people outside of your network

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Reports.

The list view displays the network reports that are scheduled for your server.

  3. In the list view, click the network report that you want to send in an e-mail message.

  4. In the tasks pane, click View report properties.

  5. In the Report properties dialog box, click the E-Mail Options tab.

  6. Under Other e-mail addresses, enter the e-mail addresses for the people outside your network who you want to send the report to.

Note

When you enter multiple e-mail addresses, separate each address with a semicolon.

  1. Click OK.
