Data Store Creation: The Platform Provisioning Process

This section describes the common tasks in the deployment of the platform and in provisioning new organizations and users.

The Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) Deployment Tool manages the provisioning process. When the MPS deployment tool runs, it checks for an existing MPS installation and, if none is found, creates the MPSDeploymentAcct in Active Directory directory service. This account is a member of the Domain Administrators group.
