Configuring filtering

Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server (FPE) enables you to create and configure the following types of filters:

• Allowed senders—Allows specific senders to bypass certain filter types. For more information, see Creating an allowed senders filter list.
  
• File—Filters messages that contain certain names or types of file attachments. For more information, see Creating a file filter list.
  
• Keyword—Filters messages that contain keywords in the message body. For more information, see Creating a keyword filter list.
  
• Sender-domain—Filters messages from specific senders or domains. For more information, see Creating a sender-domain filter list.
  
• Subject line—Filters messages that contain certain words or phrases in the subject line. For more information, see Creating a subject line filter list.
