Anti-spam agents for Exchange Server 2007 cannot be installed

Problem   Anti-spam agents for Exchange Server 2007 cannot be installed.

Features affected   The anti-spam features that provide services to block spam, or unsolicited commercial e-mail, is affected.

Resolution   To resolve this issue, you must manually install the anti-spam agents for Exchange Server 2007.

To install anti-spam agents for Exchange Server 2007

  1. Click Start, click All Programs, click, Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, right-click Exchange Management Shell, and then click Run as administrator.

  2. In the User Account Control window, click Continue.

  3. Type Install-AntispamAgents.ps1, and then press the ENTER key.

  4. Restart the Microsoft Exchange Transport service as follows:

    1. Click Start, and then in the Search field type services.msc.

    2. In the User Account Control window, click Continue.

    3. Right-click Microsoft Exchange Transport, and then click Restart.

    4. If you are prompted to restart the Windows SBS POP3 Connector, click Yes.

  5. Double-click Microsoft Exchange, double-click Organization Configuration, and then click Hub Transport.

  6. Verify that the Anti-Spam tab exists.
