Problem The schema extensions for Windows SBS 2008 could not be installed.
Features affected The schema extensions help manage the mappings between user accounts and computers and the default computer that users see in Remote Web Workplace. In addition, the schema extensions control access and permissions of a user to the client computers.
Solution You must manually extend the schema for the Connect Computer Wizard.
Note
You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.
To manually extend the schema for the Connect Computer Wizard
Click Start, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
Navigate to %programfiles%\Windows Small Business Server\Data.
Type
ldifde.exe -i -f sbsuser.ldf -c dc=x DC=<DomainName>,DC=local -s <FullServerName>
, where <DomainName> is the name of your domain (for example, contoso), and <FullServerName> is the name of the server that is running Windows SBS 2008 (for example, SBSServer.contoso.local).
