You can retrieve POP3 e-mail now or modify the schedule for how often you will download POP3 e-mail using the Microsoft Connector for POP3 Mailboxes.

Retrieve e-mail now

To download POP3 e-mail from the Internet immediately, click Retrieve Now. This will not change the regularly scheduled POP3 e-mail download times.

Note

If the connector is currently downloading e-mail or if the Microsoft Connector for POP3 Mailboxes service is not started, the Retrieve Now button is unavailable.

Schedule

To download POP3 e-mail at the same interval on specified days, click Every, and then click the arrows to define the interval in hours and minutes. Next, select the days of the week for which you want to download POP3 e-mail. The interval begins at 12 A.M. on the first day specified and continues through consecutive days. If the days are not consecutive, the starting interval is reset to 12 A.M. on the next day.

To define a schedule that the interval options do not accommodate, click Custom schedule, and then click Define Schedule.

Note

The minimal time between intervals is every 15 minutes.
