Reapply templates to existing users

To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the Domain Admins security group.

  1. Start the Change User Permissions Wizard.
  2. Follow the instructions to complete the wizard.

Notes

  • To start the wizard, click Start, and then click Server Management. In the console tree, click Users. In the details pane, click Change User Permissions.
  • You must select the template that you want to apply and then select the user accounts to which to apply the template.
  • Reapplying a template removes all group memberships and Windows SharePoint Services site group memberships that were previously assigned to the selected user accounts and replaces them with those in the selected template. Permissions that were previously applied directly to the selected user accounts are not changed.
