Use POP3 Connector Manager

To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the Domain Admins security group.

  1. Open Server Management. To open Server Management, click Start, and then click Server Management.
  2. In the console tree, click Internet and E-mail.
  3. In the details pane, click Manage POP3 E-mail, and then click Open POP3 Connector Manager. The POP3 Connector Manager Properties dialog box appears.
  4. Do one or more of the following:
    • To add, edit, or remove POP3 mailboxes, click the Mailboxes tab.
    • To define a schedule or retrieve external POP3 e-mail now, click the Scheduling tab.
    • To check service status, modify the level of service logging, or change the mailbox where undeliverable POP3 e-mail is sent, click the Troubleshooting tab.

Note

POP3 mailboxes can also be added and removed using the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard. Scheduling the retrieval of POP3 e-mail can also be set using the wizard.
