Configuring Monitoring on Your Server
You can configure your server to collect, display, and distribute server performance and usage information and to send alert notifications.
- You can run the Monitoring Configuration Wizard from the To Do List in Server Management to configure monitoring on your server. For more information, see Configure Monitoring.
- You can audit the number of failed attempts to log on to Windows SBS by a user. For more information, see Auditing failed logon events and account lockouts.
- Windows SBS includes two wizards that you can use to transfer Health Monitor configuration settings from one server to another. For more information, see Importing or exporting a Health Monitor configuration.
- You can use the Monitoring Configuration Wizard to enable, modify, or repair the monitoring and reporting features in Windows SBS. For more information, see Using the Monitoring Configuration Wizard.
