Create a new site
- Open the intranet. By default, the intranet is located at https://companyweb/.
- On the top navigation bar, click Create.
- On the Create Page page, under Web Pages, click Sites and Workspaces.
- Under Title and Description, type the title and the optional description for the new site.
- Under Web Site Address, type the last part of the new Web address. This will be appended to the parent site; for example, https://companyweb/new_site.
- Under Permissions, select one of the following:
- Use same permissions as parent site Select this option if you want anyone with access to the parent site to have access to this site.
- Use unique permissions Select this option to specify who can access this site. You must provide access manually. For more information, see "Manage intranet access" in Related Topics.
- Click Create.
- On the Template Selection page, select a template to apply to this site, and then click OK.
