PowerPoint - template question      jfletch   |   Edit   |   Show History
We are pushing out a new PPT template where text slides start in paragraph mode instead of bullets for level one text. We still want to give users the option to assign bullets as needed, but there is an alignment issue when assigning bullets to level one text. The formatting of level one in the Master is set to "no indent" so that subsequent lines in that level will line up properly with the first line. A bullet requires a first line indent therefore if a user prefers a bullet for level one, it requires them to either modify level one of the master or on individual slides (NOT IDEAL)

If alignment is corrected in the master for level one in the event the user uses the bullet option, you will not have proper alignment for paragraph mode (no initial bullet). It appears you can't have it both ways in the master but interested to know if there is a way to allow for proper alignment without using multiple masters.

Any advice would be helpful.
