Waiting for Review

On the Updates Waiting for Review page, you can review updates that are awaiting approval and/or installation.

In the list of updates, you can see the following information about each update:

  • Update name: The name of the update is shown in the Update column.
  • Update type: The type of the update is shown in the Update Type column. For example: security update, critical update, or service pack.
  • KB article reference: The Knowledge Base article number that is associated with the update is shown in the KB Article column.
  • Release date: The date that Microsoft released the update is shown in the Release Date column.

When you click an update on the Updates Waiting for Review page, two additional links appear on the page:

  • View Details and approve
  • Decline

When you click one of these links while an update is selected, you can take the action that the link indicates.

Note

You can also click View Details and approve or Decline from the pop-up menu when you right-click the update.
