Mobile Devices

  1. Plug one end of the cable into the USB port or COM port on your desktop computer.
  2. Plug the other end into your mobile device. ActiveSync connects automatically to your device.

Notes

  • The following devices are automatically configured to connect to the computer running Windows Small Business Server 2003:
    • Microsoft Smartphone 2002
    • Microsoft Smartphone 2003
    • Microsoft Pocket PC Phone Edition 2002
    • Microsoft Pocket PC Phone Edition 2003
    • Microsoft Pocket PC 2003
      For help on connecting a device that is not listed here, see your product documentation.
  • ActiveSync must already be installed on your computer. If ActiveSync is not installed, see the person responsible for your network.
  • Some of these devices may not be available in your country or region. For more information, see your network administrator.
