Configure and Manage E-mail Servers and Connectors

To configure POP3, SMTP, and Exchange Connectors, complete the following procedures on your server:

• To configure and use the POP3 Connector Manager and POP3 mailboxes, see Configure POP3.
• To configure SMTP settings, see Configure SMTP.
• To create an e-mail profile on a client computer, see Create e-mail profiles.
• You can use a global mailbox for the Microsoft Connector for POP3 Mailboxes to retrieve e-mail. To modify the routing for a global mailbox, see Modify the default routing for a global mailbox.
• By default, Windows SBS Setup installs a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) connector and the Microsoft Connector for POP3 Mailboxes. To add an Exchange connector, see Add Exchange connectors.
• To view information about mailbox usage by using Server Management, see View mailbox usage information.
