Connect mobile devices by using a virtual private network (VPN) connection

These settings are configured automatically if virtual private network (VPN) connections are enabled on the server. For more information, see Using the Remote Access Wizard.

  1. On the mobile device, select the Start button, and then select Settings.
  2. On the Connections tab, select Connections.
  3. Under Work connection settings, select Modify.
  4. On the VPN tab, select New.
  5. Enter a name for the connection (for example, My Connection), and then enter the host name or IP address.
  6. To enter specific IP address information, select Advanced.
