Whenever a selected service is not running, an alert appears in the server performance report. If you selected Send me notification of performance alerts by e-mail on the Alerts page of the Monitoring Configuration Wizard, you will also receive an e-mail notification of selected alerts.

Item Description

Name

In this column, select a service for which you want to receive an e-mail notification when the service stops running. Clear the check box for services that you do not want to monitor.

Note

  • To avoid unnecessary alert notifications, it is recommended that you only select services that start automatically.

Startup Type

In this column, view the currently configured Startup Type for the service. To change the configuration of the Startup Type, on the Monitoring and Reporting taskpad, click View Services.

Click to restore the default selection settings.
