To remove a snap-in

To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the Domain Admins security group.

  1. Open Server Management in Author mode.
  2. On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in.
  3. In Snap-ins added to, select the snap-in that you want to remove, and then click Remove. Repeat this step for any other snap-ins that you want to remove.
  4. Click OK. 

Note

To open Server Management in Author mode, click Start, right-click Server Management, and then click Author.
