<Application_Name_for_Update> - Intersecting Updates

The Intersecting Updates tab of the <Application_Name_for_Update> dialog box enables you to view detailed information for any update that has a known intersection with an application that is installed in your organization. For example, if an update potentially breaks a registry file that is in use by Microsoft® Office, and you have even one computer with Office installed, then the update will appear in this tab.

The date the Windows update was released.

The severity of the update, as determined by the Microsoft Response Center (MSRC).

The bulletin number, as determined by the MSRC.

The update title, as entered by MSRC.
To access the Intersecting Updates tab of the <Application_Name_for_Update> dialog box

Click Analyze from the Quick Reports pane.

Click Applications from the Update Impact Reports heading in the Quick Reports pane.
The Update Impact Reports - Applications screen appears.

Double-click the application for which you want to see the associated details.
The <Application_Name_for_Update> dialog box appears, with the Intersecting Updates tab showing.
Using the Intersecting Updates Tab
On the Intersecting Updates tab of the <Application_Name_for_Update> dialog box, you can perform the following actions:

Review the update information.
