It mutes my volume on and off and slowly moves my volume slide down to 0. I run defender, avg, and search and destroy and usually have to restore to get rid of it. Eventually I get it again. Every time I download an UPDATE/NEW VERSION of existing software I cannot get past "Administrator"
I have numerous 3rd party software programs and MS Office that frequently need updating or a new version to override the outdated installation. NOW - after downloading- at the start of the installation/run process I get asked if I want to run the program as "Administrator" (that's me) or current user (me too). This is a new development and has been plaguing me for the past two months. I cannot recall doing anything to change access settings that might be responsible for this. <div><br /></div><div>If I try "Current user", I'm told the program needs "Administrator access". But the will not accept my administrator password - even after creating a new administrator password in "User Accounts"</div><div><br /></div><div>New programs install without any problems - it's only UPDATE or NEW VERSIONS. </div><div><br /></div><div>Please help.<br /><br /><b><br /> [tfl - 06 01 12] Hi - and thanks for your post.
