To enable packet filtering

  1. In the console tree of ISA Management, right-click IP Packet Filters.

    Where?

    Internet Security and Acceleration Server > Servers and Arrays > Name  > Access Policy > IP Packet Filters

  2. Click Properties.

  3. On the General tab, select the Enable packet filtering check box.

Notes

  • To open ISA Management, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Management.

  • If the enterprise policy that is applied to the array forces packet filtering, then you cannot disable packet filtering.

  • You cannot configure IP packet filter properties if you installed ISA Server in cache mode.
