Queue alias name

Provides a space for you to type the alias you want to create.

Format name

Provides a space for you to type the format name of the target to which the new alias points.

Any single-element format name can be typed. The following are possible examples of valid format names:

PUBLIC=308fb580-1eb2-11ca-923b-08002b1075a7

PRIVATE=ae0c5671-f190-12ce-ae10-00dd0114290f\0000000d

DIRECT=os:comp1\private$\q1

DIRECT=http://www.<domainname>.com\msmq\pubq1

noteNote
In the example that describes using http, <domainname> is a placeholder for the actual domain name that is used.
