Add the Terminal Services Extension to Active Directory Users and Computers

To add the Terminal Services Extension to Active Directory Users and Computers

  1. Open Microsoft Management Console.

  2. On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in. The Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box appears.

  3. Click Add. The Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box appears.

  4. Select Active Directory Users and Computers, click Add, and then click Close.

  5. In the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box, click the Extensions tab.

  6. Click Terminal Services - Extension, and then click OK.

Notes

  • You must be logged on as a computer administrator to complete this procedure.

  • To open Microsoft Management Console, click Start, click Run, type mmc, and then click OK.

  • To complete this procedure, the computer must be joined to an Active Directory domain, and you must have permission to edit the Group Policy object.
