To delete distribution lists
Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
In the console tree, double-click the domain node.
Click the folder that contains the distribution group.

- Active Directory Users and Computers/*YourDomain/*Folder
In the details pane, right-click the applicable distribution list (group), and then click Delete on the menu. Alternatively, you can click the applicable distribution list (group), and then press Delete.
Notes
To open Active Directory Users and Computers, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
Message Queuing distribution lists are distribution group objects in Active Directory.
When a distribution list is deleted, it is automatically removed from all the distribution lists of which it is a member.
