IIS 6.0 F1: IP Address and Domain Name Restrictions

Applies To: Windows Server 2008 R2

Use this dialog box to provide users access to (or to prevent access to) a Web site, directory, or file.

Note

Computers accessing your server across proxy servers display the same IP address as the proxy server.

IP address access restrictions

Granted access

Click to grant access to all computers.

To add computers, groups of computers, or domains that you want to deny access to, click Add, and type the required information in the Deny Access dialog box. The computers that are denied access appear in the Except the following list box.

Denied access

Click to deny access to all computers.

To add computers, groups of computers, or domains that you want to grant access to, click Add, and type the required information in the Grant Access dialog box. The computers that are granted access appear in the Except the following list box.

Add

Click to define a computer or group of computers to which you want to grant or deny access.

Remove

Click to remove the currently selected item from the exception list.

Edit

Click to modify the specific properties of the currently selected item in the exception list.
