Installing a New Child Domain

Use the following procedures as necessary to install a new child domain. These procedures apply to Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2:

To avoid application compatibility problems, verify that the domain naming master operations master role is hosted on a domain controller that runs either Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2008 R2 before you begin.
