Delete an RD Session Host Server Group

Applies To: Windows Server 2008 R2

You can delete a Remote Desktop Session Host (RD Session Host) server group in Remote Desktop Services Manager by using the Delete action.

The RD Session Host server group must be empty before you can delete the RD Session Host server group. To remove all RD Session Host servers from an RD Session Host server group, use the Empty Group action.

To delete an RD Session Host server group
  1. In Remote Desktop Services Manager, in the left pane, click the RD Session Host server group that you want to delete.

  2. On the Action menu, click Delete. The RD Session Host server group is deleted and will no longer appear in the left pane.
