Description: Terminal Services provides a multisession environment that allows users to access a virtual Windows desktop session and Windows-based programs running on a remote computer. Terminal Services allows multiple users to be connected interactively to a terminal server (a server that has Terminal Server enabled), allows users to access desktops and applications on remote computers, and allows users to access another user’s desktop for administration purposes.
If this service is stopped or disabled, the computer might become unreliable. To prevent remote use of your computer, clear the Allow Remote Assistance and Allow Remote Desktop check boxes on the Remote tab of the System Properties dialog box.
