Services for Macintosh

Services for Macintosh lets x86-based and Apple Macintosh clients share files and printers and remotely connect to a Microsoft® network. The three components of Services for Macintosh are: File Server for Macintosh, Print Server for Macintosh, and the AppleTalk Protocol.

Notes

  • This feature is not included on computers running the Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Web Edition, operating system. For more information, see Overview of Windows Server 2003, Web Edition.
  • Print Server for Macintosh is not available on the 64-bit versions of the Windows operating systems.
