To set up a user account for Macintosh print jobs

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, click Services.

    Where?

    • Computer Management/Services and Applications/Services
  3. Double-click Print Server For Macintosh.

  4. On the Log On tab, click This Account, and then type the name of the user account, or click Browse.

  5. To require a password for Macintosh users of the computer running Services for Macintosh, in Password type a password, and then confirm it.

Notes

  • To open Computer Management, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.

  • Print Server for Macintosh is not available on the 64-bit versions of the Windows operating systems.
