Published: April 17, 2012

Updated: April 17, 2012

Applies To: Windows 8, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012

Displays inbound replication requests that the domain controller has to issue to become consistent with its source replication partners.

Growth in the number of items in the queue of an online domain controller can be caused by any of the following factors:

  • Too many concurrent replication partners

  • High change rates to objects in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)

  • Insufficient CPU or network bandwidth for the amount of data that the domain controller is replicating

For examples of how to use this command, see Examples.

repadmin /queue [DSA_LIST]

Parameter Description

DSA_LIST

Specifies the host name of a domain controller or a list of domain controllers that are separated in the list by a single space. For detailed syntax, see Repadmin.

The following example returns the queue of inbound replication requests that a bridgehead server named Contoso-DC-01 has not yet processed:

repadmin /queue Contoso-DC-01
