View or manage print jobs

Using Server Management

  1. Open Server Management.
  2. In the console tree, click Printers.
  3. In the details pane, click a printer with documents waiting to print, and then click Manage Printer Jobs.
  4. Right-click a document in the list, and then click one of the menu commands to view or manage the print job.

Notes

  • To open Server Management, click Start, and then click Server Management.
  • By default, all users can pause, resume, restart, and cancel printing of their own documents. However, to manage documents printed by other users, you must be logged on using an account with the Manage Documents permission. By default, members of the Domain Admins and Domain Power Users group have this permission.

Using Server Management for Power Users

  1. Open Server Management for Power Users.
  2. Click Printers and Fax Printers.
  3. Click a printer with documents waiting to print, and then click Manage Print Jobs.
  4. Right-click a document in the list, and then click one of the menu commands to view or manage the print job.

Notes

  • To open Server Management for Power Users, click Start, and then click Server Management. If you are a member of the Domain Admins group and want to open Server Management for Power Users, click Start, click Run, and then type: %systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\Administration\mysbsconsole.msc
