Change Your Network Password Remotely

To change your password using a Remote Desktop connection to your computer at work

  1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  2. In the address bar, type https://www.RegisteredDomainName/remote, where RegisteredDomainName is your company's registered domain name.
  3. Enter your user name and password.
  4. On the Main menu, click Connect to my computer at work.
  5. In the Computers list, click the name of your computer at work, and then click Connect.
  6. Log on to the Remote Desktop session.
  7. In the Remote Desktop session window, click Start, and then click Windows Security.
  8. To change your network password, click Change Password.

To change your password if it expires when you are working remotely

  1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  2. In the address bar, type https://www.RegisteredDomainName/remote, where RegisteredDomainName is your company's registered domain name.
  3. Enter your user name and password.
    If your password is expired, you will be prompted to enter and confirm a new password.
