Windows Small Business Server 2003 can only upgrade Small Business Server 2000 with Service Pack 1, not other versions of Small Business Server.

You must either complete a new installation of Windows Small Business Server 2003 or migrate Small Business Server to a new computer.

To complete a new installation, insert Windows Small Business Server 2003 CD 1 or the DVD (if available) into the drive, restart your computer, and then follow the Setup instructions.

Warning

To avoid losing data, you must back it up. You can restore the data once the new server is running.
