Managing Logging

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

The Logging settings page displays the name of the logging server and database for the current cluster. On this page, you can turn on and off the logging service, as well as view information about the logging database.

To manage the logging database, you use Microsoft® SQL Server™ Enterprise Manager to view the log files, manage the size of the log by filtering the information that is logged, and relocate the logging database to a different server.

To view error messages about the logging service, you can use Event Viewer.
