Short of paying someone who's an IT tech; your best bet is to just reinstalling the original software that came with your pc. Eeverything will be set to original factory settings; just as if you just brought it home; anything on your hard drive will be erased(hopefully you backup your system weekly). An IT tech would use a special software to regain your administrative password and it is not cheap.

Hi,

I have just connected my son's computer to broadband, and made all the appropriate parental control settings active.

I am obviously the administrator on the computer, he is set up as an additional user.

When the computer is first switched on each day, it starts up by asking for my administrator account password.

I can't log on for him every time he uses the computer & telling him the password negates the object of parental control settings - so is there a way to alter settings so that the computer will not prompt for the password when the computer is first turned on each time, and lets him use it - leaving any security\program activities protected by my administrator password?

Thanks.
