Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1) provides the latest updates to ISA Server. ISA Server SP1 includes fixes to provide an even higher level of reliability and stability. Microsoft strongly encourages ISA Server customers to install SP1 on all computers running ISA Server.
If the ISA Server computer is running Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or later must be installed.
Download ISA Server SP1 to your local computer.
Read the ISA Server SP1 Release Notes.
Run the ISA Server SP1 executable file to begin the installation. In the ISA Server SP1 End-User License Agreement (EULA), click I Agree to accept the licensing terms and proceed with the installation.
When the installation finishes, the computer running ISA Server will restart. After restarting, ISA Server SP1 installation is finished.
For detailed installation instructions and a list of fixes, download the ISA Server SP1 Release Notes above.
If you need to install SP2 for Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Advanced Server, visit the Windows 2000 Service Packs page.
To learn how to use ISA Server on the Windows Server 2003 family, read the Running ISA Server on the Windows Server 2003 Family.
