Summary

Internet access is a powerful tool. Yet, as with other powerful tools, it can significantly improve or deteriorate productivity. A healthy respect for Internet hazards is the best way to achieve positive effects. Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 provides an extensible enterprise firewall and Web cache server that integrates with Windows 2000 for policy-based security, acceleration, and management of internetworking. A state-of-the-art firewall is straightforward to manage, provides substantial network protection, and detects and reacts upon an intrusion. This paper focuses on the ISA Firewall services, which provide enterprise level security for your network connection.
