Validating Your Deployment

[This is preliminary documentation and is subject to change. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]

To test your deployment, try using the workflows that you have created.

Log On as an Agent

Sign in to Office Communicator as an agent. If you configured a Response Group Tab, you should see the groups that you are assigned to in the custom tab.

The settings on the group determine whether an agent can to sign in and out of a group. If the Agent Participation Policy is set to Informal (this is the default setting) agents are always considered to be available and cannot sign in and out of a group. If the Agent Participation Policy is set to Formal, agents can sign in and out of a group. An agent is available to take calls only when he or she is signed in to the group. For more information on group settings, see Modifying Group Settings.
