I want to bring my Default web server from Win XP SP3 to Windows 7
Hey guys, I recently updated my OS environment from Win XP Pro SP3 to Win 7 Prof. All went well. After reinstalling some important apps, I dove back into my pasion for Web development and installed VS 2010 Express VWD. After opening an existing web appl that I had been developing, I mad about a 1/2 dozen changes and thought I should save my work. Thats when I started to get Can't save work because of "ACCESS DENIED" violations. I thought it would be easy enough to go to IIS Services under Admin Tools and allow Virtual access to this appl as I had done so many times before. I as mildly suprised to find that Win 7 install disregarded my established "inetpub" configuration and started a totally new one on the OS install drive with Win 7.

I am hoping there is a simple way to restore my default web settings to my already developed defaqult website that I left on the XP side of my system.

If anyone has any suggestions, please help me resolve this issue.

BTW: If I am in the wrong forum please give me a link to the correct location where I might be able to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance . . . . .

TomJ.
